IRIS Connect provides a hardware warranty for the duration of the initial licence period.
Renewal
If a customer purchases new hardware, this will then be in warranty for the duration of the licence period.
Existing Hardware
When a customer renews their licences, we will endeavour to support their existing hardware for as long as possible. However, if the hardware can’t be repaired and/or we are unable to replace like for like due to items being discontinued/unsupported we will not replace with the latest hardware.
For devices with lithium batteries, we recommend customers replace batteries that have lost their capacity to hold sufficient charge. Further information on expected battery lifespan and their official replacement service can be found on the manufacturer's website. Alternatively, non-official providers may offer more price-competitive battery replacement services.
Limited Warranty
Nothing in this Limited Product Warranty affects your statutory rights as a consumer. This Limited Product Warranty is only effective upon presentation of proof of purchase.
Warranty
IRIS Connect Ltd warrants your product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of your subscription from the original date of purchase. If you discover a hardware defect in the product covered by this warranty, we will repair the hardware at our judgment using new or refurbished components, or if repair is not possible, replace the item. The replacement product need not be new or of an identical make, model or part; we may in its discretion replace the defective product (or any part thereof) with any reconditioned equivalent (or superior) product in all material respects to the defective product.
Exclusions
This warranty covers defects in manufacturing discovered while using the product as recommended by the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover loss or theft, nor does coverage extend to damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorised modifications, improper storage conditions, dampness, activation of the impact sensors, natural disasters or acts of God.
Limits of Liability
Should the product fail, your sole recourse shall be repair or replacement, as described in the preceding paragraphs. We will not be held liable to you or any other party for any damages that result from the failure of this product. Damages excluded, but are not limited to, the following: lost profits, lost savings, lost data, damage to other equipment and incidental or consequential damages arising from the use, or inability to use this product. In no event will IRIS Connect Ltd be liable for more than the amount of your purchase price, not to exceed the current list price of the product, and excluding tax, shipping and handling charges.
IRIS Connect Ltd disclaims any other warranties, express or implied. By installing or using the product, the user accepts all terms described herein.

Requirements
The cost of shipping to the manufacturer or authorised repair centre or payment of any other fees or duties are the responsibility of the user. Return shipping costs to be paid for by IRIS Connect Ltd.
