Registering device on old Apple UI

2. Select Devices and click Edit next to your Discovery Kit hardware that you want to register a device with

3. Click on Register Hardware
You will then see a QR code on the screen
4. Open the IRIS Connect Record app on the primary camera device (iPad blue)
5. Go to Settings > Advanced > Register Device
6. Login with your IRIS Connect administrator account

7. Use the camera view to scan the QR code shown on the computer screen, then press Register Device on the camera, then press Done

8, Your Discovery Kit is now registered to your organisation. When you make live reflection bookings, they will now appear in the app. Click here to see guides on how to use the Go Live feature
Registering device on New Apple UI
With the recent change of the UI on the iOS Record app, we have now simplified how you register a device. Please follow the instructions below.

2. Select Devices and click Edit next to your Discovery Kit hardware that you want to register a device with

3. Click on Register Hardware
You will then see a QR code on the screen
4. Open the record app on the primary device, tap the settings cog in the top right-hand corner and change the camera setting to 'back'.
Point your device toward the QR code on the PC screen.
Once the QR code is detected, a pop-up below will appear. Login using your IRIS Connet admin credentials and the device will get automatically registered.
(Note: Only admins can register devices)
If you are not completely sure whether the device has been registered, you can check this on the registration page on the web platform.
The page will show "Hardware 1" below the Registered Device as per the image below.
