Why Replicate a Video?
You may want to replicate a reflection for many reasons, including:
1. Wanting to have different conversations and discussions on the same video, possibly with different users, or regarding different topics surrounding the video. This can be easier with more versions of the same video as you can keep the comments separate on different reflections.
2. You'd like to combine and review multiple lessons regarding the same topic into one single reflection.
How to Replicate a Video?
Under the Reflection Library, click the Review button on the video you would like to replicate.
Then, click the Videos tab and locate the video you'd like to replicate.
Click the Settings cog and hit Replicate.
A pop up will appear with all of your reflections listed.
You can either choose to replicate the video into the same reflection, to make a copy. Or, you can choose a different reflection, you may need to scroll through multiple pages to find the reflection you'd like to replicate this video into.
As shown below, the video 'Secondary PE Lesson' was replicated under '9A PE Theory Lesson.' Once you click the reflection you would like to replicate into, you will automatically be redirected to that reflection's preview page. You will now see the video you've just replicated under the Videos tab.
Change Title
Your videos are automatically titled 'No name'. If you'd like to change the name of your video to reflect the lesson, click on the current name which will pop up a text box for you to begin typing,
Here, the video has been replicated under the same Reflection and named Video 1 and Video 2.
Comment
Even though the videos are identical in this example, the Comments section is separated by each video. Meaning, you can have a separate set of comments for each video.
NOTE: If you'd like to clone an entire reflection, instead of replicating a video within the reflection, please visit the guide Clone a Reflection.
